The Law on the Protection of Personal Data defines “Sensitive Data” as data relating to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, trade union membership, religious or philosophical beliefs, criminal convictions, as well as data concerning health and sexual life. However, if you choose to provide such data, it will be processed in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

In addition to information collected through our website, we may also receive information about you from third parties.

We reserve the right to request additional documentation for the approval of an adoption application or for the provision of certain information.

Any application or information submitted by a visitor through our website or directly to our staff allows us to use such data to provide information about our services. 3. Where do we store the collected data?
3.1
We process and store personal data on servers managed by hosting service providers located in jurisdictions that provide an adequate level of protection, as required by the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (“Storage Jurisdictions”).
3.2
We make efforts to ensure that personal data is not transferred outside the Storage Jurisdictions. However, in exceptional circumstances, personal data collected from you may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in a destination outside the Storage Jurisdictions by staff operating there.
3.3
Generally, we will retain personal data for ten (10) years. In certain circumstances, such as regulatory requirements, we may be required to retain data for a longer period.
3.4
By providing us with your personal data, you consent to the international transfer, storage, and processing of such data as described above. Any transfer of data outside the Storage Jurisdictions will be carried out only with prior approval from the Albanian authorities, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.

The Law on the Protection of Personal Data grants you the right, free of charge, to access, object to the processing (in certain circumstances), and request the updating, correction, or rectification of the personal data we hold about you.

4.3
We will make every effort to respond to your requests as promptly as possible, in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
4.4
Please note that the processing of certain personal data is necessary for the performance of any contract we may have with you. Therefore, we may not be able to stop processing such data while a contractual relationship exists. Additionally, your data cannot be permanently deleted where we are legally required to retain records related to our contractual relationship and/or where retention is required by law for a specific period.
